And This is Why I Read

If you have never read the book The Book Thief,

just do it. It's important.

I don't have the words that that book has to offer.

My Soul's Complaint

For those of you who read the title of this post and were expecting some beautifully crafted soliloquy that will  enlighten your mind and nourish your soul and stir up your emotions in such a way as you've never felt, well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to let you down. I just wanted to complain about having to prove that I'm not a robot every time I try to comment on somebody's blog, because for some reason it becomes increasingly difficult to read the distorted words so that I can enter them into the little box. Why in the world would somebody make a robot that comments on people's blogs anyway?! That's ridiculous! Plus I think it's pretty obvious that I'm not a robot. I mean, if I were a robot, wouldn't I be better at math or something?

Ich Sagte zu

Ich werde immer Schach spielen,
Werde immer Musik lieben,
Werde lächeln, laufen, lesen.

Ich verdienen eine Lobeshymnen!

Ich möchte Alles nachgeraten;
Sportlich, freundlich, hochbegabt, und
Talentiert, ursprünglich, brillieren, dichterisch!

Fur immer und ewig werde ich bleibe mich!

You don't have to know what it says, just listen to how beautiful it sounds!

And if you do know what it says, well, I'm writing German poetry, I can brag a little.

Two Does Do and a Doe Does Too.

Some things in life just don't make sense. Like the fact that probability doesn't work. You really realize that your own speculations can often be more accurate than mathematically calculated numbers when you flip enough pennies. Luck is better than math, and figuring things out for yourself is better than believing everything you're told. I still have no way to verify the existence of Australia, there are many more colors than you've seen, and gravity doesn't work how you think it does. But if you're content, just ignore this post.

When it rains, you put on a coat.

I'm am getting rather excited for BYU. Well that is an understatement, for I may appear calm on the outsite, but on the inside I am just jumping up and down like a five year old waiting for christmas. Lately I have taken to just going over to campus and wandering around the Wilk. Sometimes I read books in the BYU Bookstore, sometimes I buy candy from their magnificent candy supply, and a couple days ago I even watched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on the giant TV in the electronics section of the Bookstore. So yeah. I adventure sometimes. :)

Just a Week

So let me guess. You’re here to read about my life. Well, you’ve come to the right place. Quite a lot of crazy shenanigans have been happenin’ lately, so I am going to share some of my experiences over the past few days with you. For your convenience, I am going to provide with both the short version and the long version, and you may choose which you would like to read.

June:

I’m not working the next show at the Scera, so I don’t have to work every evening this month. Instead I’d like to try out some freelance bagpiping or something and see how I fare. I’m going to single’s ward now, and I don’t really know anybody in that ward, but my stake is awesome. Institute is also really fun, so you should all come. I’ve been doing a lot of cool stuff like running and swimming and such, and going to seven peaks and overall just adventuring Provo because there are still things I don’t know about it. Also I’m getting good at chess. Challenge me, if you dare.

Lately:

Short Version:

Last Saturday I got to go boating with Kate and it was super awesome but it made me really sore, and it was great. After that I went to the quadruple birthday party thing, but I didn’t really do much there because I was so wiped out from boating. On Monday I played some Frisbee which further exhausted me. I love Frisbee. On Tuesday I got to go to see DCI! Yay! I love DCI; it’s rather exciting. But anyway, I didn’t get back from that until about midnight, and at that point I went down to my family’s parade spot to guard it and protect my cousins from all the crazies gallivanting around the town. And holy cow, I’ve never seen so many completely insane people. Why in the world would hundreds of people yell and scream and party into 3 in the morning?! That was complete insanity. So basically I got to sleep at 4:30. The next morning I woke up at 5:30 to get ready to run the Freedom Run! This was my first time running a 5K off of 1 hour of sleep, but I still managed to improve my time by more than 2 minutes. Which is not half bad. Anyway, after that I went to the parade and yelled cheery things at the Timpview band when they played. That night I watched the fireworks for stadium of fire out on my Grandparents’ lawn (which has a picture perfect view, by the way.) Also my car got stranded a block away from my house due to stadium traffic. The next morning I woke up and got to go to Lagoon with the Timpview Band (they needed another chaperone) so all day I was partying there and just having a grand old time. Friday/Saturday I went camping with my family and got to see some epic dinosaur bones and schwim in a reservoir. Basically I could sleep for a week right now, and I’ve had the best week ever.

Long Version

Alright, here I go. Lots of writing. Yay! So the boating last Saturday was a total party, and you should look at the pictures on Facebook because they’re probably much more exciting than whatever I may be writing here. Basically it was Kate’s parents, Kate, Cami, Riley, John W, and myself all having a total party out on Utah lake. We didn’t do any wakeboarding or anything (except for Riley who somehow managed to wrangle himself onto someone else’s boat) but we did do a lot of tubing. At first we had two tubes, but then we switched them out for a bigger one that you could stand up on and was super intense, which at one point we fit all us kids onto and had tube battles of craziness. The water was warm and wonderful (except for some weird cold patches) and the sun was magnificent. Story! Riley and I were on the big tube (Cami and Kate and John were floating off in the water somewhere) and Kate’s Dad was trying to throw us licorice, but it generally ended up sinking to the bottom of the lake. A few tries in he threw one and I jumped after it and managed to catch it before it sank to the bottom. I got it back on the tube then yelled back “Thirty second rule!” Sometimes I’m funny. And no, I didn’t actually eat it. Nasty water. But anyway, I want to go boating much more often now.

Last Saturday evening there was a quadruple birthday party for four of my fantastic friends, and it was super great because so many people were there! Many of whom I missed very much due to not seeing them previously in the summer. I was very tired, so I did not participate in the volleyball shenanigans and such, but I did play some people at chess (and I didn’t do great at that, either.) There was also good food there; particularly watermelon. I feel like I like watermelon a lot more than most people do. But hey, I’m fine with that. Also there should be more parties of that variety.

Monday night Frisbee was wonderful. I need to play more often. I discovered that it’s really hard to judge how far one of the light-up Frisbees is going to go because you can only see the one dot and not the angle or anything, so I’m going to have to practice night-time play.

On Tuesday night I went to see DCI (for those of you who don’t know, this is Drum Corpse International, and it’s basically professional marching bands.) For some reason I had a staff ticket, so I was sitting in the nice seats next to Mr. Hearld, but I wanted to see the shows from higher up, so at intermission I went and sat up next to the band. There was a band there called the Crusaders that I absolutely loved. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of them before, because they were pretty darn good. I also really liked Phantom Regiment this year, and I was sad that the Cadets weren’t there because last year they were so good! I think the shows were a little less exciting than last year, but they were still amazing. Most of them just had weird or lame music like SCV. DCI made me excited to visit Timpview during Fall Band. It’s going to be odd not performing with them.

After DCI, at around 12:30 AM I believe, I went down to our parade spot, which was next to Seven Eleven. At Seven Eleven there were hundreds of hoodlums crazily partying, surrounded by police officers watching for trouble. There were also crazies cruising the streets on bikes or scooters or in cars or even atop segways, and nutters just walking around looking for some “fun.” I was completely astonished by the level of unwise activities going on as late as 4 in the morning. I really had no idea that south Provo got that insane on the night before the fourth. Where did all those people come from, and why weren’t they at home in their beds asleep?! Anyway, I had to stay up to guard all my cousins from some of those sketchy people, and plus it was too loud and bright to conceivably sleep anyway (except somehow my cousin Ashley slept through everything. I’m still impressed by that.) That last thing I heard before I slept for maybe an hour was “let’s go get breakfast now” from a passing stranger.

After my little nap I went home and changed into my little freedom run shirt and drank some juice or something, and then I went to the starting line of the race. I felt kind of sick from not sleeping, but I’ve felt worse and still run, so I was not deterred. The actual race was really fun, and the course was exciting because I saw so many friendly familiar faces along the parade route! I kept trying to talk to the people running with me, but none of them would say anything back, and I’m pretty sure they all thought I was a weirdo. My final time was 26 minutes and 42 seconds, which I guess is okay. I might run another one on the 14th and try to break 25 minutes. Afterward they gave us powerade and ice cream sandwiches and stuff, so obviously I couldn’t have been happier.

When I was done eating ice cream sandwiches (which I didn’t know was possible until that day [being done, I mean.]) I went to watch the actual parade. It was really fun to see my Timpview band march by and get to see what it actually looks like, but I missed marching in it. Overall the parade was more boring than I thought it would be. I wished I could have seen the bands for longer and everything else for not as long. Actually there was some other awesome stuff, like some girls doing acrobatics on horses (not quite as cool as horseback archery, but great all the same), and I couldn’t argue with pretty girls on floats smiling and waving at me, but I wasn’t much interested in politicians in old cars driving by or sirens blaring in my face. I also got to beat some second cousins at chess, though, so it was good.

That night I got to chill with my cousins some more and watch the awesome stadium fireworks, which I would say were the best fireworks that I’ve ever seen. Basically I just love my family. They’re great. And my grandpa is a fantastic cook and root beer brewer. After that I was going to help kidnap Dani for her birthday, but the traffic was so horrendous that I could hardly get two blocks home. Every time there’s a game or something like this cars park all along both sides of the street all over my neighborhood so that only one car can fit between them, and then cars try to go both ways through and it’s a nightmare.

Chaperoning the band Lagoon day on the fifth of July was just plain amazing. I’m so happy that I got to see so many of my little band friends again! Most of the day I hung out with Derek and Nate and Allison and Daniel, and we probably had the most fun out of anyone there. We considerably cheered up all the poor people who have to run all of those theme park game things by talking to them, and we nearly made Nate throw up from spinning in the spinny cup on the merry-go-round. We did that last year too, and almost made Nick sick. Oh, good times. Anyway, some of the rides at Lagoon are starting to seem slightly boring and slow, as opposed to when I was scared to death of them when I was small. I really want to try the catapult thing, but it’s really expensive. Bleh. Oh well. I still have fantastically fun days every time I go. I very much like intense rides and spinning stuff. And I cannot get enough of that awesome funnel cake! Also, Nate, you still owe me $10. Actually 12 because of the other 2 I lent you to get in.

On Friday I went camping with my family, and Robert and I had to sleep in a tent because there’s not room for all of us to sleep in the RV. After we got in the tent it started to pour, and the rainfly started leaking. Also the tent smelled weird from some scout campout. Robert and I were laughing for like half an hour because it was so awful. Luckily the rain stopped and we managed to be mostly dry by morning.

The next morning we got to go swimming in the reservoir (I forgot which one, but it was somewhere near Duchesne, I think.) The water was very cold, but it was still fun, because there were really cool rocks in it and even some ammonite fossils (nothing like the ones we found in Myrup’s field Ecology class though.) After that we went to two different dinosaur museums, and I got to see more real fossils than I ever have before. Really, it was stunningly awesome. I felt like a legit paleontologist, only I didn’t have to do the boring stuff like coat bones in plaster. Anyway, I had a ridiculously awesome week. I love adventuring. J

People Sometimes Have the Same Thoughts

Sometimes something good comes from a catastrophe.

If you need a friend,
Don't look to a stranger.
You know in the end,
I'll always be there.

And when you're in doubt,
And when you're in danger,
Take a look all around,
And I will be there.

I'm sorry but I'm just thinking of the right words to say;
I know that they don't sound the way I planned them to be,
But if you wait around a while, I'll make you fall for me,
I promise you, I promise you I will.

When your day is through,
And so is your temper,
You know what to do,
I'm gonna always be there.

Sometimes if I shout,
It's not what's intended.
These words just come out,
With no gripe to bear.

I'm sorry but I'm just thinking of the right words to say,
I know that they don't sound the way I planned them to be,
And if I have to walk the world to make you fall for me,
I promise you, I promise you I will.

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave
How can I love
When I'm afraid to fall
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt
Suddenly goes away
Somehow

I have died every day
Waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid
I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for
A thousand more

All along I believed
I would find you
Time has brought
You heart to me
I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for
A thousand more.

And sometimes something wonderful comes from something wonderful

You, doin' that thing you do,
Breaking my heart into a million pieces
Like you always do.
And you, don't mean to be cruel,
You never even knew about the heartache
I've been going through.
Well I try and try to forget you, girl,
But it's just so hard to do
Every time you do that thing you do.
I know all the games you play,
And I'm gonna find a way to let you know
That you'll be mind someday.
'Cause we could be happy, can't you see?
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you
And keep you here with me
'Cause I try and try to forget you, girl,
But it's just so hard to do
Every time you do that thing you do
I don't ask a lot girl,
But I know one thing's for sure.
It's the love I haven't got, girl,
And I just can't take it anymore
'Cause it hurts me so just to see you go
Around with someone new,
And if I know you you're doing that thing,
Every day just doing that thing,
I can't take you doing that thing you do.

And sometimes your life has absolutely nothing to do with any of the songs stuck in your head.

But sometimes it does.

All you can do is love them with all your heart, and hope that they love you back.

Sometimes you meet people and fall in love with them, but then they go away. Wizard of Oz at the Scera just ended and, as much as I wanted a break from sticking mic tape on people, I almost feel like weeping because this cast that I have fallen hopelessly in love with has dissipated and many I may literally never see again. Here's a little tribute to some of the people that made it all worth it.

Jessica Sundwall, Mark Gordan, Travis Hancock, Phillip Varney, Shoni Winkel, Lauren Anderson, Emily Hill, Rob Holcombe, Whitney Call, Melisa Daley, Acelynn Fulton, Suzannah Osmond, And most of all, the two little punks who made my life infinitely better every time I saw them, Austen Bigelow and Sarah Osmond.

I'll not be forgettin' you any time soon you lovely, lovely, people. Thank you so much for your perfect kindness and joy.

Here are some people that, if we don't hang out soon, as well as throughout college, I shall surely die

Bread, Kat, Kate, Kristen, Whitney, Katelyn, Josh, Henry, Michael, Miriam, Karli, Tanne, Yon Soo, Claire,  Aubrey, Nicole, Wendy, Cami, Nick, Rebecca, Jane, Zoe, Miranda, Mary, Gwen, Sarah, Lauren, Abi, Merlin, Acelynn, Jessica, Michaela, Shelbs, Dani, Dania, Jennifer, Emma, Kenzie, John, Maren, Maren, Sarah, Chrissy, and my Missionary Friends!

Yikes.

I just signed up for college classes. It's pretty sweet. I got some really random classes, and I don't anticipate having many of my current friends in them, which is sad, but I shall do my very best to keep in contact with them anyway. Also it's good, because now I have more opportunities to meet more new people! Yay! Anyone who wants to, please feel free to come study with me any time that you feel like it. That way I won't get lonely. :)

Swiss Army Folks

Wouldn't it be handy if every person were the same person? Except not really. I mean like how a swiss army knife works. You have all of the gadgets together, and they're all still completely individual and completely unique and themselves, but they're just all there when you need them. You never see the knife without the fish scaler and the can opener. What I really mean is that it's hard to get to know somebody because as you do the other people that you know start to drift away and forget you. You can't make progress and bond with every person at once, because everyone's just shooting off in billions of different directions and you just have to grab a few people and stick with them while everybody else shoots away.
I just want to meet everybody, and be friends with everybody. Well, I won't forget any of you, even if you shoot so far away that you end up on the other side of the universe. That's about all I can do.

What's Better than One Cookie?

You know the age-old question, "What is better than one cookie?" And the answer is obviously "Two cookies" or some variation thereupon. So, I have another question. What is better than teching Wizard of Oz once? Well clearly the truth lies somewhere between the two. Meaning teching the Wizard of Oz play at two different locations with two different casts of two different levels of preparation is much better than ending on a sour lemon. <-- That sentence originally ended with "sour note" but then I realized something: notes cannot be sour. Actually I just realized another something. Notes probably can be sour in some way or another, but I don't believe that that was one of the occasions. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I really like the cast for Wizard of Oz at the Scera (Disclaimer: I also really really like the cast for Wizard of Oz at Timpview, but the Scera's production is just a little more well done. Like when paranoid people cook steak. Only in a good way.)   Especially Dorothy, who is Jessica, who is really pretty, who also apparently does not have a Facebook account, so now I have to ask her for her number, and then ask her on a date, because she's very nice and also always brings back her microphone right away, and it's never broken. And also Acelynn, who is very nice and talks to me when I'm bored backstage. I can ask her on a date too, after I get her number. How do you ask a girl for her number? Normally they just end up in my phone somehow.
Also I want my friends back from California. Why did you leave me?!?!?!
And my other friends who did not leave me, I love you. Thank you for not leaving me. How come we never hang out? Call me.
Also I need marimbas. Like, now. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO PRACTICE SINCE GRADUATION!!!!!!!!!!

Grateful for the Little Things

Sometimes I forget how amazing even the very littlest things in my life are. So I'd like to take just a sec to express a little bit of gratitude for some of the little things that make me happy.

I like fluffy pillows. They make me happy. Also chips. Crunching stuff between your teeth can be very satisfying. I am far too tired to continue this list. Goodnight.

What Just Happened?

That's right, I calculated my hours of tech. Over my high school career, I teched about 1000 hours.

And now I just applied for a tech job at the Scera. What is wrong with me?

Gradumacationation.

In memory of my Graduation today, I shall share a short story:

When my mother was in high school she was a straight A student. One day, she was feeling frustrated that some students got paid by their parents to keep their grades even at a B level, and she didn't get paid for straight A's! So, she explained the situation to my grandma and stated that she should get paid to keep her grades up. My grandmother simply responded, "Okay, you can have a dollar for every B that you get."

Needless to say, my mom got no money because she liked her 4.0 GPA. Good story, eh?

Anyway, I graduated. I got a cute little piece of paper with ink on it and a yellow rope and a funny hat with a fuzzy thing hanging off of it. I even got to play dress up and wear a blue sheet and walk across a red carpet while old people whom I don't know shook my hand, and then I got a picture with my hero, the high school principal. It was extra special because everybody else did it too!

That last paragraph was really sardonic, but I don't actually feel that negatively about it, I just wanted to write a sardonic paragraph about graduation because that's fun. Truth be told, graduation was a big moment, and pretty exciting! It symbolizes the transition between blah and blah, and I really like rubber duckies, and MC's speech was pretty funny. I don't feel like writing anything super in depth right now, but let's just say that high school was great. Oh, also playing in the orchestra at graduation was really fun. And I love the people who graduated with me, because they just make my life a joy. Thank you to everybody who has helped me to make it this far; I love you all a lot.

Music Without Sound

Things like this. Standing on a cute little bridge in the sunlight, blowing dandelion seeds out over the river as you relax and enjoy the pure beauty that surrounds you. This to me is just as much music as music is.

Other things, like a smile, a laugh, a dragonfly, a drop of sunlight, a bright night sky, a kind word or a butterfly, a Warbler's tune, a duckling's flight, a quail's waddle or flash of light, a scone, strawberries bathed in cream, a tiny flower, a quiet stream, hiking a hill, climbing a tree, all can make a symphony.

Sometimes I wax poetic. But the point is, anything from a pun to a tadpole can be music if only you care enough to listen for it. It would be tragic to be so focused on other things that you miss the music that surrounds you.

Senior Ball (Aren't you proud that I did NOT put a pun in the title?)

I'd better talk about the marvelous events of last Friday.

Basically Senior Ball was a very good way to end high school date dances forever and ever. First off, the guys met at like 8:30 in the morning to finish our preparations, which included making sandwiches and throwing other food together in a way that looked semi-presentable. After that we picked up the girls and went rock climbing. Or at least that's what our plan was before the huge storm schwacked us even though there was a "0% chance of rain." So instead we played board games at Riley's house, and also had our picnic there, which I think was pretty great. The bit of sandwich that I made was most popular among the ladies; mostly because Riley and Michael both added mustard.
Oh, I should probably say who was with who. Michael was with Miriam, Riley was with Kat, and I had the best date ever, Kristen Blair.
And then we dropped off our dates and went home to get ready. Well, Michael took a nap and I had to take Riley to Timpview to interview potential drama council presidents.

Later that day...

We embarked on a further journey to collect our dates yet again. This time we were dressed up fancy. So, we showed up at Kat's house, and she was all ready to go and happy looking. And then we went to Miriam's house, but she was not ready so we went to Kristen's house, and there was nobody there except for a couple of the Blair's neighbors. So we had a party in the car. And then Sophie arrived, but she didn't know where anybody was, so we partied some more. (I have recently discovered that Sophie is probably the coolest middle schooler in existence, but that is a story I shall tell later.) Eventually, Kristen's wonderful father showed up and he interviewed me, which was quite enjoyable. Every Blair is perfect; I'm sure of it. Eventually Kristen arrived and we embarked off into the distance to take pictures.
Ellie Peak took pictures of us, and she is so skilled that she even managed to make my smile not look awkward! All these pictures are on Facebook, so I won't put them here. But they're amazing.

After those shenanigans we went to go eat food. We found Bombay House with no trouble at all (unless you count Riley and Michael, because they're nothin' but trouble when they backseat drive.) And Bombay House was sooooooooooo good! And I normally only put one "o" in "so." I really love drinking Lasses. Especially Mango and Rose and Mango Rose. Yummy. Also I am now a very huge fan of Chicken Tikki Masallah and those other delicious Indian foods that I got to eat. Believe me, Bombay House, I will be back!

After dinner, we drove to the dance. (This sentence was originally in German, but then I remembered that everybody doesn't speak German. Which is lame.)  I like very much to see all of the people at the dance looking all fancy and pretty! (Of course nobody was as pretty as my date, but still.) Also at the dance Kristen and I decided that the music was too loud (and rather unpleasant) so we went for a walk. We managed to get kicked off the gold course (apparently so did the other two couples in our group.) (I'm putting lots of stuff in parentheses.) But basically it was super wonderful to have such a great opportunity to actually talk with Kristen and catch up after her being gone for three months. She's quite the wonderful person. I'm pretty darn lucky to be able to know her.

After the dance, we went to MC's abode the chill, but that only lasted like 20 minutes because we were all so tired. Then we went home. The End. :)

So Here's How It Works

Several people have expressed frustration at my earning of the Art Academic Letter. Well, here's the essay that I wrote to persuade the people in charge that I earned it. Maybe it will persuade you too.

I feel like I should explain my reasoning for applying for the art academic letter a little bit. At first glance, it may seem like I have not had very much to do with art, but really, art is very important to me and I try to incorporate it into many things that I do. While some may disagree with me, I feel that the Performing Arts classes that I have taken count towards fulfilling the requirement stated in the student handbook. I looked up the definition of Art, and some examples that I came up with are as follows: “Art:  The quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.” And “Art: The products of man's creative activities; works of art collectively, esp of the visual arts, sometimes also music, drama, dance, and literature”                –Dictionary.com as according to the World English Dictionary (Collins.)
So, while I may have not taken any classes at Timpview pertaining towards drawing or sculpting and such, I have clearly been involved in Music, Drama, Dance, and Literature, which are all—according to the very definition of art—various forms of artwork. I have obviously also maintained over a 3.7 GPA in all of these art classes, and exhibited much work from them, performing in concerts, at state, in plays, in solo/ensemble, and publishing work in the school newspaper. I even won a Gold Key award from the Alliance of Young Writers for a poem that I wrote.
In addition to all of this, I have also gotten some of my Etch-A-Sketch work published in the Yearbook on multiple occasions, as well as earning my Boy Scout merit badges for Art, Wood Carving, Basketry, Leatherworking, Music, and Drama—all of which have to do with being well versed in and skilled at art. I also very much enjoy drawing with sidewalk chalk or markers, and painting.
I have expressed self-motivation and willingness to learn on multiple occasions, some of which include having Riley Budd teach me how to throw a pot, and Joseph Moulton teach me some better drawing techniques. I have always been supportive of my friends in art and try to help them whenever possible.
With all of that said, I believe I have more than sufficiently met all of the requirements for the Art academic letter, and I look forward to doing even more with art in the future.

That said, when I highlighted the classes that I have taken that have to do with art, the better half of my high school transcript was colored yellow.  I also attached a copy of my etch-a-sketch work to the application. So, you can see that I really have earned the letter, seeing as it is really not the most prestigious art award out there. If you're mad because you've toiled and worked your whole life to earn the art letter, you have a lot more than a little piece of paper that says art on it, you have beautiful talent and beautiful paintings or sculptures or drawings, and you have much more capacity than I do to go out and use your ability to make something that is actually has real value, unlike the academic letter.

It's 11:27 and I've got a lot to do, so I'll make this blog post short just for you.

Two plates of brownies, Two liters of soda, a pizza, an answer to senior ball, music, friends, happiness, and getting paid to do it.

You wonder why I like my job?
